At the moment Capcom and Sony Pictures work on a full cg-movie: Resident Evil - Degeneration where the story should be very close to the well known Survival-Horror-Games. Now, a first trailer is online and definitely worth a look!
The one-minute-preview shows an US-Airport that is attacked by a horde of Undead. Claire Redfield and Leon S. known from part 2 of the game-series are the last hope of mankind.
Detailed scenes and breathtaking gunfights demand a great deal of the animators. They even animated an airplane-crash.
