The Story 
Pack is a young polar bear, clumsy and insecure, who has found shelter in a cave in  ARTOONIC which he uses as his base. Because of his brown paw he would be recognized immediately among thousands of other bears.
He's not a great hunter and he's neither good at fishing. Fish is his preferred meal, he would pass hours and hours grilling it on the spit...if just he would manage to catch some.  He's got an instinctive, endless hunger which forces him every day to invent something to be satisfied, every time having to do with the more fortunate Flake.
The series opens up showing the fantastic landscape with Pack wanting to fish, like usual without success. The sight of Flake in another area of ARTOONIC, stirs his need to prevail over her: his goal is to steel the food from her.
That's how the adventure of our character, Pack, begins; from now on he will try in all ways to catch the small seal, nevertheless never putting aside his main aim: eat!!!
The Idea The idea of ARTOONIC originates from the characters; we chose them from the nature-world and worked out their  natural behaviour. Every peculiarity, from age to height, from character to vices, contributed to the creation of a unique profile for every character.
The choice of the landscape, which reminds us of the artic land, but represents an unreal place, is given by the intention to revolutionise the common idea of a place that seems to be dull and always the same, cold and inhospitable, and to transform it into a changeable and surprising land. We will pass through realistic and minimalist sceneries, extreme ice canyons and imaginary structures, which will enable everyone to live the artic in a different way.
The 13 episodes of ARTOONIC aim to entertain the audience through gags that originate from interaction between the characters, from their reactions and expressions, actions and motions, which have the same effect like those we have always been used to in traditional comical series. The idea to create a TV series where the classical comic spirit renews itself. Additional info: ARTOONIC is one of the first Italian TV series completley realized in 3D.
