Hello
Im working on a character that we will be using in our game engine (made in xna). Ouer programmer that writes the animation code for my model wants me to name each animation loop like idle, walking and so on. Can someone pint me in the right direction.
At the moment I have all animation loops in one timeline (don’t know if that matter)

Hello and welcome to the forums.

If I had mod powers I'd remove your threat in websites and portfolios. Please keep your threads to the appropriate forums.

To start of I would use google for tutorials on game character modeling. 3dtotal had an excellent Joan of Arc tutorial somewhere there.

As far as doing my own character I would do a front, back, side and maybe top sketch of the character to scale. Then I would scan it, cut the image up into planes and model from those blue prints like I would a car.

Hello guys over there. I am from Nepal...I need help:help:
I am interested in character animation. But I know 3dsmax other than character animation.. I tried to model cartoon character's like Shrek's...But no idea how to where to start ...and i am very depressed.......
I know all the theories for any character animation..........but I don't have the practical knowlege to model cartoon characters and animate them........please experts out there .help me./

And please don't tell me to take classes this is because we don't have any kind of 3danimation school here in Nepal....and for online courses I don't have fast internet and that money.........so please help me out..........:(
