does anyone know how to create a gun muzzle flash ? I am using 3ds max 9 and or a explosion flash of something being blown apart. I was looking at having the pieces from the explosion have a smoke trail following them as they are flying through the air.

Now lets stop with the Vista Bashing please, don't tell me you're one of those people that tried it when it just came out, didn't like it and just gave up? it's a lot more stable now, I've had it for going on to four months now and haven't had a single problem with it other than 3DsMax9 acting up.

you should know, XP sucked when it first came out too, so did 95, it's Microsoft after all, never expect any Microsoft OS or software to work properly right at the release, you need to give it at least a year for patches and stuff that Microsoft skipped on to release the product early and hoard the money :P

also, bottom left of the post is an edit button, just right of the "Author's posts" button under the Avatar.
