Posted in: Beginners Area » continuing movement of an object

I new to this type of thing in general and I was wondering if there is an easier way to move something without having to move each joint. I figured out how to make this elephant and I made it move for 100 frames in Autodesk Maya but I had to make it move in 400 frames to get it to move in the speed I wanted it to the end point I needed it to move to. So I was wondering if I could just repeat the leg movements between the first 100 frames to the end of the 400 without having to move it manually. Thanks for any help!

Posted in: Beginners Area » rigging help.

Hello, I'm kinda new to rigging and ran into a problem while rigging a set of mechanical joints.

first is the nutural pose... the top right is the closed arm... the bottom middle is the opened to it's max.

everything is a suppose to be a solid piece of metal... these are just dumby objects so that I could on the rig faster... the Red dot is a piviot that never moves... I've been able to get most of it working when they close.. but the rig I almost had working falls apart when the arm opens up all the way. I was just wondering if any one had any suggestions.

Posted in: Beginners Area » Anyone able to teach me how to modeling a face?

I would agree with Eumel3d, that's a tough challenge for a beginner. Have a look around for car tutorials, there are loads of them. A car will not be easy to do but you may find it easier than a face whilst still learning the neccessary techniques.
