Hello everybody...
Just a short question: I find so many good video-tutorials on the net and was wondering how they where done.. I have googled for it and found the keyword "screen-capture".. But there are tons of programs out there...
Does anybody have ever tried to do a video-tutorial; and which software is good for that?
I have downloaded one, called "AutoScreenRecorder".. but you have no possibilites to change the recorded framerate or the output-file-size... The files get really big with that software...

Any experiences with such things?

Actually, no. I kinda stopped when the last modeler quit, and I don't have enough material for a demo yet. I suppose I could take some screenshots of what the maps look like in the level editor...

There are 3 possible reasons :
1) No 'active' admin / moderator is doing their job to approve (so far there isn't any moderator yet)
2) Script has problem again
3) Your file had gone to 'black hole' (lost without reason)

Dang. I thought you said you would be slow because you needed to work on school stuff... there was no rush, I could have waited if it meant you obeying your parents.

It goes without saying that I need another modeler now... anyone want to take the post?

Well, in my opinion, lots of hard work need to be done to 'revive' 3dk. As you can see, the news has not been updated since about a month ago, and there doesn't seem to be any 'tutorial writers' hired. Personally, I don't think that 3dk will become as popular as 3dkingdom.org, and it also can't 'replace' 3dkingdom.org.

Just look at the 'Sister sites' section, http://divaguer.com/ and http://ohardware.com/ are not working, and don't forget about CGBuzz as well (now closed down). Seems like most of the 'sister sites' are getting closed down....and I hope 3dk will not be the next on the 'list'.

I have aleready made my first things..An orange (easy)
And some part of an tree. I Use Zmodeler, - i found out that 3D's max was a bit expensive and could'nt export to .prm ónly .ase

I have some problems during texturing, but that has something to do with all thoose bugs when you export as .prm in Zmodeler. Thanks for the tut's again :)
