Posted in: General Discussion » is there any problem with submissions....

all the gallery submissions are screened and judged before they are permitted into the gallery, if it's not good enough, you can wait all you want, it showing up is not happening, simple as that.

Same problem here. I submitted a resume and two samples of my tutes to both this site and cgtutorials.com over three weeks ago. Still no reply. Back to 3DTotal, I guess. Good luck in finding an answer.

Posted in: General Discussion » 3dsmax; 3dk; the future; the past

Greetings lords and ladies,
Its saturday morning and I am bored to hell. So I decided to start a topic on the old 3dk; just for fun.
3dk is down for about a year now (and it is still down in my humble opinion), but I am curious how much has survived from the old spirit and members.

At the moment I visit this site rarely because of some things that are well known: no picture attachment, no updates, no admins (damn I am admin as well...).. Ok I do not want to recapitulate everything that has been said in an other topic.
I think that lots of people miss the old 3dk and want to have a strong community to discuss things on and off topic, just to waste time, like I do now...

As said before.. 3dk is down for about a year... but lots of things happend in this year..
So, the idea is: I will post some of my works from the past year in this topic (and i have done a lot - some people know that I do some anims for public television) and I hope to see some works from you as well; just screenshots, or even photos from your holidays or whatever. Just to get something to talk about ;)

Alright to get started:
Here is a link to an animation I did in the last year:
The link is low qualitiy but it was rendered in HD:

http://www.dlr.de/tsx/animations/2007-06_TSX-Hochwasser_Web.wmv (3.05mb)

And a question: How can I add pictures to my post?

Hope to see some of the old members pop up in this forum, to talk about the old times, and perhaps the future.
And I hope to see some new faces as well ;)

Enough for know....
To be continued

Cheers Eumel3d

BTW: was in danmark on holiday last year ;) .. It was a bit boring as well.. no young people there :)

Posted in: General Discussion » Need A lot of Help Designing a Few Simple Things

Ok so I need help! I need someone who is very nice and willing to help me make some 3D models and save them as .3ds or .obj!!!! I really need someone to make me a few tihngs (4 small bjects). I am basically making a master chief suit in real life, and I need someone to make me the left calf, the left thigh, the underwear piece and the left forearm. For the right side thins, you'd just have to flip them symmetrically. I've got rough templeates and pics and videos and stuff, so if anyone can help, add me on msn (rednimnam@hotmail.com) or send me an email. After seeing some of the amazing things created on this site, I'm sure it would be very seasy for ou to make what I am looking for!!! PLEASE HELP ME!
