how about use VRayfur include in vray..
geometry-->change standard primitive into Vray-->VrayFur:whistling:');

hi everybody
i have a problem with v-ray
when i use a picture as my enviroment
after rendering the enviroment is effected by the sence light and its not good for
quick composite by max , how can i solve it?
and i have another problem
i use hair fx , but after rendereing multiframes by v-ray
in some frames hairs haven't rendered correctly
are there any points between v-ray ad hair FX?

I created an account here but I can't login to cgtutorials.com with it. It says invalid username/password combination.

Also, the submission on cgtutorials.com doesn't work. When I submit a tutorial, it says that only GIF/JPEG/PNG thumbnails are accepted. I tried uploading a 75x75 JPG, then a GIF, and then a PNG but they all don't work.

I do not know if I understood you right...

You can use the same username and password you have created here on 3dk to login on cgtutorials.
On the main.page of cgtutorials just enter them.
Although you only need to log-in on cgtutorials if you want to submit a tutorial ;)

maybe you should try render with creating a render passes, it took more less time to render for heavy scene or size of the image, and of course would be more easy for you to control how does the shadow came out, color, specular etc.

yeah could you post your MR setup and render setup, maybe we could help to correct and give you solution for your render problem...(*sorry for my poor english)

If you want the fastest method, use render farm. I believe that it should be faster than the best PC possible at the moment (but you need to pay for each second/minute/image that you render, so this should be used only when you are short of time or you want to render that image in the shortest time possible)

well it's simple, the better the processor + more RAM = faster rendering speed, I've been told that 64Bit PCs render much faster than 32Bit ones, though i don't really have the capabilities to test if that is true or not.
