Im still working on the lighting so... :)

and the couches and chairs, all models on the scene is full modeled by my, discamplement map is only on the carpet.

I haved little pause on this scene but soon I will back to work on this.

After the Diablo Rojo in Junkyard submission, now I change the theme. This is time is a dark one, this is called Tarantul the Sorcerer this is my modeling wip that's why its called part 1. I hope you like and enjoy, Comments and critics most welcome. This is the mid-poly character, then I am putting inside zbrush to work further details.

I like the backrest on the couch and the chairs, did you model in those creases/ruffles or whatever they're called. or are they displacement maps?

Hi im using vray 1.5 and 3d s max 9, have been using for a while but keep stumbling on a problem where when i render i get clusters of white spots mostly on reflective items, i use irradiance map and light cache, adaptive qmc - m c. and have tried lots of different settings and cant get rid, i can inly clear them up a little. pls someone help me in finding the answer..... p.s im using xp, but have experianced on vista too.

Hello, this is my attempt to model the 1970 chevy chevelle 390 supersport fastback. It's actually a pretty accurate model, although I changed/conceptualized the front of the car a fair amount to my taste. Modeling is mostly complete with a few areas still in need of touchups, I've just been rendering many many tests trying to get the shaders and lighting better and would appreciate some feedback very much.

i settled on the lighting in the below pictures because I wanted a slight 'vintage' feel to go along with the car, as in my opinion it was a cool part of US history (muscle car era).

the main paint shader in this first render is a matte primer type, but now im leaning toward making more a metallic paint. Renderer is Vray, although I am also doing a mental ray version of the car simultaneously.
