  • New server and Downtime (huuh?!)

    Due to the problems we have experienced with our old server we have been forced to move to a new server. 3D Kingdom experienced some downtime because we were suspected to have caused major problems so our account was suspended. We have upgraded our hosting, so there should be no more bandwidth or downtime issues, because we have a server all to ourselves.

    Gallery is not avaible at the time because we're missing about 50 images from the gallery. Also, some attachments in the forums are not avaible because we are missing about 50 MB of files (some of them are from the gallery, while others are from other places).

  • We've moved to a new server

    The site has been down since 25th of July. Fortunately, we haven't lost any content. The reason why the site was down is that MySQL was shut down, and since our site depends on MySQL, it wasn't working. Now, month after, we've finaly moved to a new server and it works again :) We have to say thanks to our member alias|wavefront who is also our new sponsor for hosting. If you've managed to open a site and register in this downtime period (25th July - 25th August), please register again because we weren't able to make a backup of MySQL database.

  • Bugs & models

    Report a bug section is working good. So far we have found out about a few small/medium/big bugs, and fixed them all. Also you may notice that the name of the article leads to the article and the topic name leads to the topic. This is a minor adjustement of the 3dkingdom theme. We will start adding a few models per day for the next couple of days. Also, we had some problems with ImageMagick (generates thumbs for everything) but that's all behind us now.

    We are currently testing a new theme, 3dkingdom theme. This theme has not been tested yet (it's being tested now) so there might be a few glitches in the design. Other themes will still stay here, but this one will be the default theme.

    I did some enhancing today as you can see. I installed a shoutbox, new who's online block and Latest submissions block. I still have a random picture block waiting and a latest posts on the forum block. I have started a new theme for 3dkingdom, should be out in a week or so.

    Well, I got the Bosnian translation but I have a problem with PostNuke. When I click on generate in the Language section in the Administration I get like 10 errors. I have tried to remove it, and I also tried asking for help on www.postnuke.com forum but it don't work. So, if anyone knows how to fix this let me know how.

    Well, I translated PostNuke into Bosnian, then I got the translation from soMeone else. Now when I try to install I get 10 errors, I'll work on that tommorow.

    Well, it looks like the site is getting more hits now than ever before. I wonder why :)
    We have Bosnian version of the site coming up soon, I mean really soon, maybe in a couple of hours even :)
    Some of the stuff simply takes too long to translate like the galleries. Everything else should be translated and the Forum will get Forums in Bosnian.

    This site has been recently redesigned and that is the reason for the lack of the updates. New site is done in PHP (PostNuke) and that will enable us to make a lot more updates than we could do before and this site is much better feature wise. When you register you can add your work to the gallery (please note that we can delete any inappropriate material, and we will do that). When you open a big version of a picture in the gallery you probably will get a image much bigger than your screen. Do not report this as a bug, because it is not a bug, it's the way it should be.
